Gangeticians,
We
are grateful to have all your blessings and support in the great journey of 3rd
year of Sri Sri Durga Puja 2021 and we are proud to make our mission successful
in true sense.
In the year 2019 with the support of only few residents and non-resident
Gangetician, we started the Puja which was very successful in all the sense. Everyone enjoyed the Puja with full of
entertainment and finger licking food.
Even in 2020, the painful pandemic year, with utmost care it was celebrated
with pomp and gaiety. We convert the gloominess into happy faces with the
blessings of Ma Durga.
This year also the preparation for Puja was taken from the month of July. We
will be celebrating the Puja with same enthusiasm and care.
We
grew as a community by number and by culture. I thank the whole team for
publishing the first ever issue of Durga Puja Souvenir. The team had worked tirelessly day and night
to publish the first souvenir on time.
A
big thanks to all our committee members for their seamless effort from planning
and flawless execution. The level of energy,
enthusiasm, and passion to excel in all our members made the puja a great
success.
Gangeticians
showed the values and togetherness selflessly to drive smooth in voluminous
work involved in Puja. My thanks to those who although are not holding any
organizational post in the committee but came forward and extended their hands
to steer the series of activities in Puja.
A
special mention also goes to all our sponsors. Without them it was not possible
to make this year Durga Puja a special one. I feel immense pleasure to thank
Dr. Kaushik Mondal and Dr. Rupashri Mondal for taking a keen interest to
vaccinate all the willing Gangetician, security and maintenance staff. This step makes the puja safe and free from
all the Covid related tension. My heart felt gratitude to the team “Covid Sathi”
for managing the vaccination program a success.
